Who are you ?

Le Philanthrope is a select store bringing together the fashion & home gems that we unearth for you. 

Each product is chosen for its style as much as for its positive impact on the planet, because we are convinced that Beautiful can and should be Good.

What is a “philanthropie”?

This is an ethical criteria helping us select each product.

The "philanthropies" allow you to see whether or not a product has a positive impact on people and on the planet. 

Thus, the products that we select are :

  • created in an eco-responsible way,
  • or the fruit of artisanal know-how,
  • composed of natural fibers,
  • from fair trade,
  • made locally,
  • part of the circular economy,
  • or even vintage !

How do you select designers?

We follow our heart :) We look for products that we like and inspire us, and we tell ourselves that if we like it, there's a good chance you'll like it too. And as for us creation cannot rhyme with destruction, we only choose products with a positive impact, therefore products which correspond to our famous "philanthropies".

Beautiful AND Good, that's our rule.

How to create an account on Le Philanthrope?

This is very simple, you just need to click on the little silhouette at the top right of the site, or create an account directly when placing your first order.

What's on my Le Philanthrope account?

Your account is your personal space, where you will find. :

  • Your personal information, including your delivery address.
  • Your order history.


Do I need to have an account to place an order?

No, it is not compulsory, even if it facilitates monitoring and our discussions. Information such as name or address will however necessarily be requested for the proper management of the order.

What should I do if I have a question or problem placing an order?

What is your delivery policy?

Le Philanthrope delivers you directly, generally via Mondial Relay, Colissimo or Chronopost depending on your choice, and ships your order within 2 working days so you receive it very quickly and usually within 1 week. If an additional delay applies and/or if it is the designer who sends the package directly to you, then the time may be extended a little and this is then specified on the product sheet.

Delivery is free for purchases over €100 including tax.

Below €100, the price is as follows :

- For delivery to Metropolitan France:

  • If you wish to go to a relay point, delivery costs €4 per order with Mondial Relay.
  • For home delivery (or to a post office if the carrier is unable to deliver directly to you) you can opt for Colissimo at €7 or Chronopost (= express) at €19 per order.

- For delivery to Monaco, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Spain, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal and the Netherlands:

  • By Mondial Relay at €8,
  • By Colissimo at 14€,
  • by Chronopost express at €22.


How do I modify or cancel an order?

As long as the order is not validated, it is easy to add or delete items in your basket, whereas once the order has been placed it is no longer possible to modify or cancel it directly.

The order can be tracked in your account. A tracking number per package allows you to locate it.

What should I do if I want to exchange a product or get a refund ?

If the product received does not suit you, you have 15 days upon receipt to return it free of charge, provided of course that it has not been used or damaged, and that it is returned in its original packaging. This is not valid for the products mentioned in article L.121-21-8 of the Consumer Code, such as tailor-made and/or personalized products or those which cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.

What are the possible payment methods?

We use a payment service that allows secure payment by credit card.

What should I do if the product I like is sold out?

We know this frustration and we do everything to prevent you from if ! So should this happen, simply send us an email to specifying what product you are referring to (without forgetting the color and size) so that we can get back to you quickly.
